Removal

Disconnect the ground wire from the battery.

Disconnect the electrical wire from the automatic starting unit.

Unscrew 3 bolts on the block cover, remove the cover together with the insert.

Installation

Install the insert. Make sure that the groove is facing upwards and the insert is installed correctly.

Install the lid with the spring and heating coil. The spring must be connected to the drive lever.

Install the automatic starting unit cover so that the mark on the cover coincides with the middle mark on the carburetor body. Secure the lid.

Connect the wire to the automatic starting unit and the ground wire to the battery.

Adjustment

By turning the cover of the automatic start unit, you can change the time for the automatic start to turn on. It is not recommended to change the factory setting.

Remove the air filter, loosen the 3 bolts on the automatic starter unit cover and turn the cover. At the same time, observe the air damper at the top of the carburetor. If the damper should remain closed, turn the block cover so that the air damper moves in the "zu" ("closed") direction (at most - 5 mm from the marking). Finally, check the operation of the automatic starter: the air damper should be open after warming up (i.e., be located vertically).

If the automatic starter should turn off earlier, turn its cover in the opposite direction (maximum 5 mm).

Examination

Remove the air filter from the carburetor.

Slowly press the accelerator pedal; the air damper must be closed.

Turn on the ignition.

Press the accelerator pedal lightly so that the limit screw presses against the stepped disc.

Depending on the ambient temperature, the air damper should open after approximately 5 minutes. Otherwise, check the integrity of the bimetallic spring or the reliability of the connection of the automatic starting unit to the battery.
