Removing
NOTE: For clarity, this process is shown with the transmission removed.
Switch the selector to position «R».
Loosen cap nut 4.
Remove trim 3 from the gear selection rod.
Carefully pry back the hooks of lock washer 1 with a screwdriver.
If one hook is broken, the washer must be replaced.
Then remove nut 2 and lock washer 1 from the gear selector rod.
Disconnect the plug from the F125 multifunction switch.
Remove bolts B and remove the multifunction switch from the selector shaft.
Installation and adjustment
Set the selector lever/stem on the gearbox to position «N».
Connect the F125 multifunction switch to the gear selection shaft.
Tighten the fixing bolts B of the F125 multifunction switch by hand.
Install adjuster T10173 on the selector rod (pic. 3.81).
Disconnect the selector rod.
Turn multifunction switch A so that the nose of the plug 1 engages in the groove of the adjusting device T10173.
Tighten the fixing screws of the F125 multifunction switch with a torque of 6 Nm.
Now remove the adjusting device T10173 from the gear selector rod.
Connect the selector rod.
Further installation is carried out in the reverse order.
Check selector lever adjustment.
