Removal



Remove the gearbox sound insulation.

Place the VA G 1306 tray underneath.

Remove oil drain hole bolt 1 (Fig. 3.69).

Remove oil drain hole bolt 1 (Fig. 3.69).


Drain the ATF oil.

Loosen the oil pan bolts 1 in a crosswise pattern and remove the oil pan.

Installation



Clean all solenoids in the oil pan grooves. Make sure that the solenoids are in full contact with the oil pan.

Install the oil pan with a new gasket 1 (Fig. 3.70).

Install the oil pan with a new gasket 1 (Fig. 3.70).


Make sure that all spacer sleeves 2 are completely located in the new gasket 1.

Tighten the oil pan bolts in several stages in a crisscross pattern. Replace the oil drain bolt seal.

Tighten the oil drain hole bolt.

After installation, fill with ATF, then check the ATF level, and add oil if necessary.



Tightening torques



Oil drain hole bolt: 28 Nm.

Oil pan bolts: 8 Nm.
