Removal and installation the pressure sensor for hydraulic system 1 in automatic transmission G193 and hydraulic system 2 in automatic transmission G194 (VW Touareg 1)

NOTE: Always replace sensors together.

Removal

If this operation has not yet been performed, remove the oil pan and mesh oil filter.

Carefully disconnect the plugs of the hydraulic pressure sensor 1 in the automatic transmission G193 1 and the hydraulic pressure sensor 2 in the automatic transmission G194 2 (Fig. 3.73).



Unscrew both sensors.

Installation

Always replace sensors together. Install two new sensors and tighten to 5 Nm.

Connect the plugs of sensors 1 and 2 until they stop.

The plugs should click.

Install the mesh oil filter and oil pan.

After installation, fill with ATF, then check the ATF level and add oil if necessary.
