Removal

Disconnect the fuel lines from the pump and plug them.

Unscrew the nuts from the fuel pump flange and remove the pump. Remove the pump pusher with gaskets and intermediate flange.

Installation

Lubricate the bottom of the pump with general purpose grease.

Check the length of the pump pusher. It should be 100 mm.

Place a new large diameter gasket under the intermediate flange. Install the intermediate flange with gasket and pusher.

Attention! Install the intermediate flange first. Otherwise, the pusher may fall into the engine crankcase.

Install the tappet so that its tapered end points toward the camshaft.

Install a new gasket with a small inner diameter.

Install the fuel pump and tighten its mounting nuts to a torque of 15 Nm (1.5 kgfm).

Connect and secure the fuel lines with clamps.
