Disconnecting the flexible cable (VW Touareg 1)

Remove the flexible cable coupling of the bonnet lock drive 1 upwards from the holder 2.

Release the intermediate clutch of cable 1 using a small screwdriver at the attachment points (Fig. 8.11).



Remove the front part of the flexible cable 1 from the clutch 2 (Fig. 8.12).

NOTE: When installing, make sure the flexible cable housing is properly inserted into the clutch and the clutch is secured.
