Removal
Open the tailgate glass.
Only now open the trunk door.
Please note that the tailgate glass does not fall into the lock. Otherwise, it will be impossible to remove the tailgate separately.

Remove the tailgate trim and rear window frame
Pull the plugs down, unscrew the screws 3 from the trim panel 5 and remove the trim panel from the tailgate hinge 4.
It is necessary to disconnect the plugs of all existing electrical components and hoses.
Loosen screws 2 (do not unscrew them completely).
Further removal is only possible with the help of a second mechanic.
Unscrew screws 2 only now and remove the luggage compartment door 1.
Installation
Installation is carried out in reverse order.
