NOTE: If the adjustment range at the junction of the tailgate and the tailgate hinge is insufficient, the tailgate height can be adjusted by changing the position of the hinge itself. The guide wedges and trunnions must be loosened.
Loosen the bolts 1 of the tailgate hinge 2 (without unscrewing them completely) (Fig. 8.14).
Adjust the height of the tailgate evenly to match the outer contours.
After adjusting the tailgate, tighten bolts 1.
Tightening torque: bolts 125 Nm.
Adjust the guide wedges and trunnions.
Adjust the lock loop.
