Order of execution
Warning: Tailgate/tailgate adjustment must be done with the vehicle on wheels.
1. Using a 24 mm wrench, turn the stop (1) rear door counterclockwise 90°and remove it from the door.
2. Remove the rubber buffer from the door stop, then using a 3mm hex wrench, unscrew the contact screw until it stops.
3. Remove the valve from the body to a distance A = 12.5 mm.
4. Set stop (1) rear door into the door and, using a 24mm wrench, turn the stop 90°clockwise.
5. On both sides of the car, remove the piston spacers (1) and spacer pins (2).
6. Close the tailgate with light pressure in the middle of the door.
7. Adjust the position of the rear door so that the gap between the door and the body is 5 mm. In a specialized workshop, a special tool 3371 is used for this.
8. Open the back door again.
9. In this position, the tailgate is preloaded with about 3 mm.
10. On both sides of the car, install the piston spacers into the hollow caps.
11. Tighten the contact screw (1) socket wrench with a torque of 1.5 Nm.
