Adjusting the hood lock (VW Touareg 1)

NOTE: For better clarity, the hood latch and latch support have been removed from the radiator frame.

Remove the radiator grille.

Loosen three bolts 1 (do not unscrew them completely).

Adjust the position of the lock support 3 in the direction of the arrow in Figure 8.10.



Tightening torque: bolts 19 Nm.
