Removal
Remove the three bolts on the inside of the hood. Hold the lock with your hand and remove the rod.
Remove the lock.
Installation
Check the lock, rod and linings, replace if necessary.

Place the lock on the underside of the hood and place the rod with the lining on top. Secure the hood lock together with the rod.
Determine the exact position of the lock by opening and closing the hood several times. If necessary, adjust the lock by moving its mounting plate in the longitudinal holes.
