Removal
Mark the position of the trunk lid on the left and right, as well as the position of the hinge using a scriber (this makes it easier to install the old cover in its original place relative to the hinge).
Open the trunk lid. Remove the air intake (area in front of the windshield), to avoid damaging it when removing the cover. Unscrew the 2 cover mounting bolts and remove it.
Installation
If you are reinstalling the old cover, align the marks on it with the marks on the hinge.
Pay attention to the condition and correct installation of the rubber seal; replace it if necessary.
Secure the lid and adjust it by sliding it in the longitudinal holes. Tighten the bolts.
By opening and closing the lid several times, check whether the lid fits into the lock properly. If necessary, adjust the relative position of the lock and the top of the lid.
