Removal
Remove the tailgate trim.
Disconnect plugs 2 and 4.
Remove the holder 6 from the anti-tamper protection 7 and pull the flexible cable 10. of the emergency door release from the switch lever 1.
Disconnect drive rod 3 from shift lever 1 and unscrew three hex nuts 5.
Remove the tamper-evident cover 7 and unscrew the screws 8 of the contact button 9.
Now you can remove the contact button 9 from the outside.
Installation
Installation is carried out in reverse order.
