Removal
Open the fuel tank hatch.
Unscrew screws 3 and remove fastening element 4 from the fuel tank filler neck recess.
Open the lid of the medicine cabinet and fold aside the insulating lining.
In vehicles with a CD changer, disconnect plug 8 of the fuel filler flap opening motor 9.
Loosen screws 6 with a screwdriver and move the fuel tank flap opening motor 9 in the direction of the arrow backwards.

Remove the fuel tank hatch opening motor 9 with the emergency release drive 7 and the hatch opening rod 10.
Installation
Installation is carried out in reverse order.
