Pry the plug out of the hole (Fig. 8.41).

Pull door handle 1 and hold it. Unscrew bolt 3 using socket wrench T 10072 until it stops. This will release the lock cylinder housing 2 (Fig. 8.42).

Now you can remove the lock cylinder housing 2 at a right angle to the door from the door handle mount in the direction.

Installation



Insert the lock cylinder body 2 at a right angle into the door handle mount.

Now tighten bolt 3 into the mount using a socket wrench (Fig. 8.42).

A distinct click indicates that the door handle has been re-locked into the lock cylinder housing.

NOTE: During installation, the lock cylinder body should be pressed against the outer door trim from the inside. Door handle 1 is not installed tightly on the door.




Then the installation is carried out in reverse order.

Finally, it is necessary to check the operation of the door handle and lock, since if the flexible cable is not adjusted and fixed correctly, the door may not open.
