Removal
Remove the rear door trim.
Cars with a central locking system: additionally remove the drive rod by lightly pressing a screwdriver into the slot of the plastic latch and pulling the drive rod out of the guide lever.
Compress the locking tabs -3- and remove the lock cylinder housing.
Remove the rod. To do this, open the hinge bushing and remove the rod from the lock cylinder housing. Squeeze the rod out of the guide lever.
Disconnect plug 6 and unscrew the lock.
Installation
Connect the plug, hang the rod on the guide lever and tighten the lock.
Place the lock cylinder body, secure it and screw it on.
Insert the rod into the hinge sleeve, press the guide lever against the lock cylinder and close the hinge sleeve.
Check the proper functioning of the lock and lock cylinder, install the rear door trim.
