Removal and installation the trunk lid lock (VW Passat B3)

• 1 — lock cylinder body

The lock cylinder housing is removed in the same way as for the PASSAT Variant models.

Note: Since 10/93 the design has been changed, but removal is carried out as before.

• 2 - nut, 6 Nm

With a non-falling washer.

• 3 - fixing protrusions
• 4 - hinge bushing
• 5 - traction
• 6 — plug

For luggage compartment light switch.

• 7 - castle
• 8 — bolt, 7 Nm
• 9 — lock cylinder plate
• 10 - Phillips head screw
