Central lock operation
The central locking system provides centralized locking and unlocking of all doors, including the rear door.
The central lock is controlled by:
- mechanical key;
- remote control;
- keyless access;
- central locking keys.
Automatic locking "AUTO LOCK"
When the vehicle speed reaches approximately 6 km/h, all vehicle doors are locked. This function can be activated in the main menu "Komfort-Setup".
Automatic wiping "AUTO UNLOCK"
All doors are unlocked when the ignition key is removed. This function can be activated in the main menu "Komfort-Setup".
Security lock
The activated security lock makes it difficult for someone to enter the vehicle. When the security lock is activated, the interior door handles and the central lock button do not function. When the security lock is activated, the control LEDs in the front doors flash.
If the security lock is not activated, the car can be unlocked from the inside by pulling the door handle.
WARNING: No one should remain in a vehicle locked from the outside, as the doors cannot be opened from the inside.
NOTE: In the event of an accident with airbag deployment, the entire vehicle will be unlocked. However, it will only be possible to lock the vehicle from the inside after the ignition has been turned off and then back on. It is not possible to lock the vehicle from the outside after an accident.
