Dismantling
Attention! The central lock can be removed and inserted with the sliding door installed and open.
(1) central locking
(2) hex bolts M8x40, tightening torque 21-25 Nm
(3) wire rod
(4) lock washer
(5) rear adjoining surface of the sliding door
(6) traction foam pad
Remove sliding door trim.
(58-240) remove the lock washer 4 from the rod.
Remove the wire rod 3 from the trunnion of the remote control lock.
Remove bolts 2, see. pic. 58-239.
Remove the central lock together with the rod, separate the lock washer 4 from the wire rod 3 and from the central lock, see fig. 58-239.
Installation
Attach the wire rod to the central locking trunnion and lock it with a washer.
Push the rod into the door and put the foam pad 6 on the rod 3, see fig. 58-239.
Screw the lock to the door with a torque of 20.7-25.3 nm.
Attach the rod to the trunnion of the remote control lock and secure it with a lock washer. Glue the pad on the rod in the middle of the door.
