Since September 1984, a structurally modified sliding door has been installed. The following sections describe the installation and repair work on this door.
Dismantling
Remove the middle drive bar trim.
(58-243) The trim is pressed into the U-clamp along with the trim. It is screwed in place with two screws.
(58-244) Knock out the trim, starting from the rear corner, upwards using a hammer and plastic wedge.
Installation
Glue the trim to the facing.
Press the trim and trim into the clamp and tap it down with a hammer and rubber wedge.
Check the installation of the trim along the groove of the relief waist line of the rear wall and sliding door. The trim should fit evenly everywhere.
Screw the trim with two screws.
