Central locking keys (VW Touareg 1)

The central locking buttons can be used to lock and unlock the car from the inside.



To lock the car - press the key .

To unlock the car - press the key .

The central locking buttons also function when the ignition is off. When the security lock is on, the central locking buttons do not function.

When the car is locked with the central locking button, it is not possible to open the doors and the rear door from the outside (protection from attack, for example, in front of a traffic light).



You can unlock the doors individually from the inside by pulling the door handle twice.

When the driver's door is open, it cannot be locked to prevent the driver from being left outside a vehicle that is locked from the inside.

The central locking buttons on the front doors lock and unlock the entire car, while those on the rear doors only lock and unlock a specific door.

WARNING: Locking the doors from the inside prevents the doors from opening accidentally in the event of an accident. However, locked doors make it difficult to provide assistance to people in the vehicle in the event of an accident or emergency.
