The child lock prevents the rear doors from being opened from the inside.

Enabling the child lock

Unlock the vehicle and open the door where you intend to activate the child lock.

With the door open, turn the key slot to position B (Fig. 1.15).

Turning off the child lock

Unlock the car.

With the door open, turn the key slot to position A (Fig. 1.15).

To prevent children from accidentally opening the door while driving, the child lock must be turned on. When the child lock is turned on, the door can only be opened from the outside. The child lock is turned on and off with the key when the door is open.
