Rear door adjustment (VW Touareg 1)

To properly adjust the door, it is necessary to loosen the door hinge on the rack. Other measures, such as pulling the door up, are ineffective. With subsequent loading, the door will sag again.

For these purposes, use the door adjustment key 3320 together with the nozzle 3320/2.

If it is necessary to unscrew the upper door hinge on the B-pillar from the inside, you can use the adapter nozzle 3320/1.

To do this, you need to remove the B-pillar trim and the threshold trim.

When installing new outer door trim, the frame of the hanging units is not affected.

The rear edge of the outer door trim is installed approximately 1 mm higher relative to the rear door, dimension a (Fig. 8.40).

After installing the frame of the hanging units, the door is lowered by 1 mm.
