With the help of a key

In vehicles with central locking, locking or unlocking any side door simultaneously locks or unlocks all other doors, including the tailgate. Insert the key into the keyhole and turn it.

To lock the door, turn the key forward.

To unlock the door, turn the key back.

The passenger door can be locked without a key: simply push down the locking button and slam the door. The driver's door cannot be locked in the same way.

Remote control of door locks

Remote control of door locks

A key with control buttons is used to remotely lock and unlock the doors.

To lock all doors, press button 2 on the key head. Check that the doors are locked. If one of the doors is not closed properly or the key is left in the ignition, the remote door locking will not work. The anti-theft alarm is activated simultaneously with the doors being locked.

To unlock the doors, press button 1 on the key head.

After remote unlocking, you have 30 seconds to open the doors. After 30 seconds, the doors will automatically lock again.

If you want to lock or unlock the door mechanically, release the key by pressing the button shown by the arrow. To remove the key, you also need to press the button.

Luggage compartment door

  • When the tailgate key slot is positioned vertically, the tailgate is unlocked and locked automatically by pressing the central locking button.
  • When the key slot is horizontal, the door is always locked. It can only be opened with a key.

Child safety

Child safety

To prevent a child in the back seat from accidentally opening the door, you can lock it. To do this, open the back door, insert the key into the lock slot on the end of the door and turn the key in the direction of the arrow. Now the door opening lever from the inside does not work and the door can only be opened from the outside. To remove the lock, turn the key against the arrow.
