Before launch
1. Inspect the area around the car before getting into it.
2. Adjust the seat position, backrest angle, headrest and steering column.
3. Adjust the outside and inside rearview mirrors.
4. Close all doors.
5. Fasten your seat belt.
6. Apply the parking brake.
7. Turn off unnecessary electrical appliances.
8. If the vehicle is equipped with an automatic transmission, move the selector to position P or N.
9. Insert the key into the ignition switch, unlock the steering shaft and turn on the ignition.
Start-up procedure
1. Do not press the accelerator pedal.
2. Turn on the starter and do not release the ignition key until the engine starts. Do not keep the starter on for more than 10 seconds. If the engine does not start, turn off the starter, pause for about 30 seconds and try again.
Warnings:
- Do not warm up the engine on the spot. The engine warms up better while moving.
- Do not run the engine at full speed until it has warmed up.
- Do not tow a vehicle equipped with a catalytic converter for more than 50 m. Otherwise, unburned fuel will enter the catalytic converter and damage it.
