Throttle cable adjustment (4-cylinder petrol engine)
1. Throttle pipe; 2. Stopper; 3. Throttle cable; 4. Rubber bushing; 5. Gas pedal; 6. Plain bearing; 7. Stopper; 8. Gas pedal support
Attention! The cable is very susceptible to fracture, so it requires very careful handling during installation. Even a small break can lead to a break during operation. Do not install a broken cable.
Adjustment
1. Depress the pedal to the full throttle position and hold it in this position. You can use outside help.
2. Check if the throttle lever is in full throttle position.
3. Otherwise, remove the lock plate (1), pull out the cable until the throttle lever stops, while the throttle is in the full throttle position. In this position, insert the locking clip into place. When properly adjusted, there should be a small gap between the throttle lever and the stop, not exceeding 1 mm (lock screw (3), lock washer (2)).
Removing
1. Remove the cable from the lever, stop and throttle.
2. Break off the stops from the passenger compartment.
3. Pull the damaged cable towards the engine compartment.
