Adjusting the throttle cable (4-cylinder petrol engine)
1. Throttle body pipe; 2. Stopper; 3. Throttle cable; 4. Rubber bushing; 5. Gas pedal; 6. Plain bearing; 7. Stopper; 8. Gas pedal support
Attention! The cable is very susceptible to breakage, so it requires very careful handling during installation. Even a small break can lead to a break during operation. Do not install a broken cable.
Adjustment
1. Press the pedal to the full throttle position and hold it there. You can use outside help.
2. Check if the throttle lever is in the full throttle position for the throttle valve.

3. Otherwise, remove the locking plate (1), pull the cable out to the throttle lever stop, with the throttle valve in the full throttle position. In this position, insert the locking bracket into place. When adjusted correctly, there should be a small gap between the throttle lever and the stop, not exceeding 1 mm (locking screw (3), lock washer (2)).
Removal
1. Remove the cable from the lever, stop and throttle valve.
2. Break off the stops from the interior side.
3. Pull the damaged cable towards the engine compartment.
