Fuel Delivery Quantity Diagram

Fuel Delivery Quantity Diagram

1. Connect the voltmeter with additional wires to the fuel pump. Press the remote control, measure and record the measured value; approximately 2V less than the 12V battery voltage.

2. To eliminate excess pressure, open and close the fuel tank cap.

2. To eliminate excess pressure, open and close the fuel tank cap.

3. Disconnect the fuel return line (1) from the branch. Connect an additional hose with a pressure gauge using an adapter, lower the other end into a measuring container. The figure shows a 4-cylinder gasoline engine.

4. Turn on the remote control, gradually closing the tap until the pressure gauge shows 3 bar. Leave the tap in this position.

5. Empty the measuring container.

6. Turn on the remote control for 30 seconds.

7. Based on the recorded voltage value, determine the required minimum feed quantity value using the diagram. For example: a voltage value of 10 V corresponds to a minimum feed quantity of 500 cm³.

8. Compare the minimum feed amount with the measured feed amount.

Attention! If the voltage is normal, but the supply quantity is still too small, check whether the fuel lines are kinked or clogged, and whether the fuel filter is clogged. If everything is OK, check the fuel pump check valve.
