- check the fuse number 18 in the fuse box responsible for the operation of the pump. It must be in good condition;
- jack up the rear of the car and put it on supports;
- ask an assistant to turn on the ignition. In this case, the fuel pump should turn on, which should be accompanied by a characteristic sound. If the pump works, then find the reason why the fuel is not supplied;
- place a rag on the end of the fuel line connection, and carefully remove the hose. In this case, the fuel should splash, i.e. the supply system is under pressure. If so, put on the hose immediately;
- if this does not happen, then ask the assistant to scroll the engine with the starter. In this case, fuel should spray out of the removed hose;
- if it doesn't, then do the following:
- turn off the ignition;
- remove the mat on the right side under the second row of seats, unscrew the mounting bolts and remove the hatch for the electric fuel pump and fuel level sensor;

- disconnect the plug connector of the fuel level sensor and the fuel pump; connect a voltmeter or test lamp on semiconductor diodes to the two outer terminals (pic. 205);
- turn on the ignition. The voltmeter should show the approximate battery voltage. If there is no voltage, then determine the location of the wire break from the electrical diagram and eliminate it;
- if the voltmeter shows battery voltage, then remove the fuel level sensor and check if the electrical wires between the flange and the fuel pump are connected and have good contact;
- if there is no open, replace the fuel pump;
- install a new fuel pump and fuel level sensor, connect electrical wires.
Note. Before changing the pump, you should check the pump relay at the service station.
