Removal
Disconnect the ground cable from the battery.
Disconnect the hoses from the fuel filter, having first cut the terminal clamps with side cutters, and remove the filter.
Installation
Insert a new filter.
Note: The arrow on the filter must point in the direction of fuel flow, i.e. towards the fuel pump.
Install the fuel hoses and secure them with clamps tightened with screws.
Connect the ground wire to the battery.
Checking the carburetor
Clean the carburetor joints and throttle rods and lubricate them with MoS₂ grease.
Check the operation of the intake air heater.
Check the engine speed when idling and the CO content.
