When working with a carburetor, simply unscrew the intake air guide casing from the carburetor and set it aside with the wires attached. The intake air temperature regulator is located in the guide casing.
Removal

Loosen 3 nuts (arrows) and remove the air intake guide cover with an upward movement.

Loosen the clamp and remove the air intake hose coming from the air filter box.
Mark and remove the 2 vacuum hoses at the temperature regulator. Some of the connections are already marked, see section "Checking the intake manifold heating system".
Disconnect the engine crankcase ventilation hose.
Note: The hose is secured with a clamp. Cut the clamp with side cutters and secure the hose with a clamp tightened with a screw during installation.
Installation
Place the guide casing on the carburetor and tighten the 3 nuts to a torque of 7 Nm.
Connect the vacuum hoses to the guide housing in accordance with the previously applied marks.
Place the air intake hose onto the casing and secure it with a clamp that is tightened with a screw.
Install the crankcase ventilation hose and secure it with a clamp.
