The performance of the accelerator pump must be checked in the case of excessively high fuel consumption, poor transient response when pressing the gas pedal, poor response of the engine to pressing the gas pedal, and slow acceleration.
Examination
Remove the carburetor.
Note: A workshop can perform an accelerator pump performance test using a special device without removing the carburetor.
Turn the stepped washer "1" so that it no longer touches the screw "2" for adjusting the crankshaft speed of a cold engine at idle speed. Secure the stepped washer in this position.
Place a suitable funnel and measuring tube under the carburetor,
Move the throttle lever to the fully open position 5 times in a row (make 1 move in about a second). Before each next move, pause for about 3 seconds.

Caution: The float chamber must be filled with fuel, otherwise fuel will not flow.
Determine the amount of fuel injected, divide it by 5 and compare with the prescribed value, see below.
Adjustment
If necessary, adjust the performance of the accelerator pump. To do this, release the locking screw "1" and turn the eccentric "2".

- = reduce productivity.
Install the carburetor.
Adjust the engine speed when idling and the CO content in the exhaust gases.
