The injection quantity of the accelerator pump should be checked if the fuel consumption is increased, there is a deterioration in the non-transient process when giving gas, the engine does not respond well to the gas and accelerates with a delay.

Run the engine briefly to fill the float chamber.

Remove the air filter.

Open the air damper (the upper valve in the carburetor) and jam it with wire.

Make a tube according to the drawing.

Unscrew the tube from the 3 mm pipe. The inner diameter is 1.5 mm. Put a suitable plug on the end of the tube.

Place the tube on the accelerator pump tube.

Move the throttle valve until fuel comes out of the tube.

Move the throttle valve until fuel comes out of the tube.

Place a measuring cup under the tube. Open the throttle valve fully 5 times (at a pace of one pump per 3 seconds).

Divide the injected amount by 5. Compare the result with the reference value, adjust if necessary. See Table for value "Basic data of the carburetor".

In contrast to the set value, adjust the injection quantity: (a) - increase the injection quantity; (b) = reduced injection quantity.
