1. Drain the fluid from the fuel filter as described in subsection 1.20.3.1.13.
2. Clean the outside of the fuel line (1) and (2) (see Fig. Fuel filter) and remove from the filter, after cutting off the clamps.
3. Remove the locking bracket (5) and take out the regulating valve together with the connected fuel lines.
4. Remove the fuel filter upwards. If present, first remove the clamp (A) (see Fig. Water drain valve).
5. Install a new filter.
6. Put on the fuel lines and secure them with clamps. Do not mix up the fuel supply and return lines. The arrows on the fuel filter indicate the direction of fuel flow.
7. Install the regulating valve with a new sealing ring and secure it with the locking bracket (5) (see Fig. Fuel filter).
8. Check the tightness of the system. To do this, start the engine and let it idle. After repeated gas supply, the fuel should flow through the transparent fuel line to the high-pressure fuel pump without bubbles.
