Diesel engine
Caution: Diesel fuel that has come into contact with rubber parts, such as cooling system hoses, must be wiped off immediately, otherwise these parts will deteriorate over time.
Warning: Diesel fuel should never be simply poured onto the ground or thrown away with household waste. District and city administrations should provide information on the location of the nearest special waste collection points.
Necessary consumables:
- O-ring seal for control valve.
- Fuel filter for the corresponding engine.
- Approximately 0.2 l of clean diesel fuel to fill the fuel filter.
Removal

- Release clamp "3" and remove regulating valve "4" together with attached fuel hoses. 1,2 — fuel hoses, arrows show the location of the fastening brackets.
- Disconnect fuel hoses -1- and "2". First, using special pliers HAZET 798-5, loosen and move the spring clamps onto the hoses.
- Release the "arrow" fastening brackets and remove the fuel filter with an upward movement.
Installation
- Fill the new fuel filter with clean diesel fuel. This will allow the engine to start faster.
- Install a new O-ring to seal the control valve.
- Insert the fuel filter and secure it with the mounting brackets.
- Insert the control valve with the attached hoses and secure with a clamp.
- Connect the fuel hoses and secure them with clamps.
Attention: Do not mix up the connection points. The direction of fuel flow is indicated by arrows on the top of the filter.

- Start the engine and let it idle. Make sure the fuel lines and fuel supply system connectors are tight.
- Press the accelerator pedal several times to remove air from the fuel system.
