No special tools are required. The necessary spare parts are V-belts of the appropriate sizes.

It is recommended to replace all belts at once, even if only one is worn. The belt sizes are specified in the operating instructions. Too little tension on the V-belt leads to increased wear or failure of the belt.

If the tension is too high, the bearings of the corresponding units may fail.

1. The V-belt must be replaced in cases of: excessive wear, frayed sides, traces of oil, porosity, cracks on the surface.

2. Check the V-belt tension by pressing firmly with your thumb in the middle between the two belt pulleys that are the farthest apart.

3. The V-belt of the generator and power steering pump should deflect by approximately 5 mm.

4. The air conditioning compressor V-belt should deflect approximately 10 mm.

5. V-belts, replace if necessary.

Attention! Check the tension of the new belt again after 10 minutes of operation.
