The V-belt must be replaced when:
- excessive wear
- fringing of the side surfaces
- presence of traces of oil
- porosity, surface cracks
Check the V-belt tension by pressing firmly with your thumb. The belt should deflect by approximately 10 mm. Adjust the belt tension if necessary.
Note: On all models there is no need to tighten the poly V-belt, as the spring-loaded tension roller maintains the belt tension constant. For the position of the tension roller, see section "Tensioning/replacing the poly V-belt".
