2. Remove the steering wheel as described in step 3 (figure 9.4).

3. Loosen the bolts and remove the lower steering column cover.

4. Unscrew the three bolts and remove the combination switch. Disconnect the plug with the electrical wires.
5. Using a hex key, loosen the clamp bolt securing the steering wheel lock.
6. Lift and remove the safety washer from the inner column, remove the spring and contact ring.
7. Disconnect the plug with the electrical wires and remove the steering wheel lock from the top of the column together with the upper casing. It is important to remember that to remove the lock, the ignition key must be inserted into the lock.
8. Unscrew the bolt and remove the switch and lock housing.
9. To remove the lock cylinder, drill a 3mm diameter hole, press on the spring pin and remove the cylinder (figure 9.5).

10. Assembly is performed in the reverse order of disassembly. First, it is necessary to replace the safety washer with a new one and press it completely onto the limiter while simultaneously supporting the lower end of the column.
