The power steering reservoir is located in the engine compartment, on the left as you move the vehicle. A measuring rod is mounted in the reservoir cap. When the engine is cold, unscrew the reservoir cap and check the working fluid level using the measuring rod. It should be in the area marked "Kalt" ("cold"). After that, warm up the engine and check the working fluid level - it should not exceed the upper mark marked "Warm" ("warmed"). Only hydraulic oil can be used for topping up. Its code is G 002 000.

If there is not enough hydraulic fluid in the power steering, you will soon notice that the steering has become harder to operate, especially when parking the car.
