The air filter is a device in the fuel system that traps dust particles present in the intake air. Dust ingress leads to increased engine wear and fuel consumption. The air filter uses a filter element that must be replaced every 30,000 km or every 2 years. When operating the car in dusty areas, the filter element must be replaced more often.
To replace the filter element, you need to remove the cover from the air filter housing and replace it with a new one.
