The car's brake light is turned on using the brake light switch, which is attached to the pedal bracket. When you press the brake pedal, the spring moves the switch pin to the position «included», the brake switch contacts close the brake light circuit.
Good visibility of the brake light is ensured by the use of a 5 W incandescent ball lamp, clean glass and a normal size lantern in the incandescent lamp.
Stop lights are easy to check. To do this, you need to put the car with its back against the wall of the garage and press the brake pedal. Red reflections from the included brake lights should appear on the wall. If one of the brake lights is not working, try replacing the bulb. If both brake lights fail, then the fuse or brake light switch may be faulty, as it is very rare for both bulbs to burn out at the same time. If the stop lamps do not turn off, and the incandescent lamps, wire connectors, wires and fuses are in good condition, then the brake light switch may be faulty.
