Front brake pads
1. Unscrew the bolts and remove the front wheels, marking their position relative to the brake disc.
2. Measure the thickness "a" of the inner and outer brake pads (Fig. 2.29). The permissible thickness "a" of the brake lining, including the support plate, must be at least 7 mm. If the thickness is less, the brake pads must be replaced.

3. Install the wheels according to the previously made marks and tighten their mounting bolts to 120 Nm.
Rear brake shoe linings
4. Check the thickness of the brake linings through the hole (arrow B) and the inspection hole (arrow A) in the protective casing (Fig. 2.30). Permissible wear of the brake lining (without base plate) should be 2.5 mm. If the thickness is less, the brake pads should be replaced.

Please note: There is no need to remove the wheel to check the brake pad thickness.
5. The permissible thickness "a" of the brake lining, including the support plate, must be at least 7 mm. If the thickness is less, the brake pads must be replaced.
