2. Depending on the vehicle model, it is necessary to remove the outer ball joint of the steering rod or the steering rod as described in point 7. In vehicles with power steering in the system, it is possible to remove the right and left steering rods and therefore remove the rod as necessary.
3. Loosen the lock nut and then the outer ball joint from the transverse rod.
4. Remove the clamps and pull the cover off the steering gear and steering rod (photo 9.7 and photo 9.8).


5. Installation is performed in the reverse order of dismantling. To facilitate installation of the casing, it is necessary to coat the inner surface of the casing with grease before installation. Replace the safety nuts of the ball joint of the steering rod with new ones.
6. Finally, check the alignment of the front wheels.
