Place the front of the car on stands and remove the corresponding wheel.
Mark the position of the upper eccentric screw on the shock absorber strut (drawing on the right), so that the tilt of the wheels does not shift.
Before unscrewing the threaded connection at the bottom of the shock absorber, the position of the eccentric screw (arrow) should be marked. This then serves as a "starting point" when reassembling the parts, so that the necessary adjustment of the front wheels is again obtained
Loosen both low threaded connections of the shock absorber strut and remove the bolts.
Remove the shock absorber strut.
When installing the eccentric screw, insert a new special safety washer.
Tighten the connections at the bottom to 80 Nm; tighten the nuts at the top to a torque of 20 Nm.
Check the wheel alignment.
