- engines «AAZ» 0.018-0.058 mm.
Maximum allowable:
- engines «1Y», «1Z», «AFN», «RA» and «SB» 0.17mm;
- engines «AAZ» 0.16 mm.
Thin-walled main bearing shells. steel, with a working surface from an aluminum-tin alloy. The cast-iron flywheel, with a pressed-on ring gear, is attached to the crankshaft flange with six bolts and can only be installed in one angular position. Permissible axial runout of the flywheel when measured along the circumference of the contact surface with the clutch disc is not more than 0.08 mm.
Checking the technical condition
Produced in the same way as indicated in the corresponding section «Petrol 8-valve engines».
Note. When determining the gaps between the liners and the crankshaft journals using a calibrated wire, turn the connecting rod bolts and bolts of the main bearing caps by 90°.
