Removal and installation covers and flywheel

  • 1 - Sealing ring. Do not additionally lubricate the working edge of the lip seal; before installation, clean the surface of the crankshaft journal from oil by wiping it with a clean rag
  • 2 - The sealing flange is placed on the centering bushings, install with silicone sealant -D 176 404 A2-
  • 3 - Cylinder block
  • 4 - 60 Nm and turn 90°, replace
  • 5 - Flywheel, to loosen the mounting bolts, secure with tool 3067
  • 6 - Intermediate plate, placed on centering bushings, do not allow bending/damage during installation
  • 7 - 15 Nm
  • 8 - Sealing flange with lip seal, with timing rotor for speed sensor, replaceable only as an assembly. Do not additionally lubricate the working edge of the lip seal, remove any remaining oil on the crankshaft journal with a clean rag before installation, use the supplied mandrel for installation
  • 9 - Engine speed sensor "G28"
