Instructions: Remove plastic spacers protecting open valves immediately before installing the cylinder head. When replacing the cylinder head, also drain the old coolant and fill it with new coolant.
- 1 - Cylinder head, after replacement, change all coolant
- 2 - Cylinder head bolt washer
- 3 - Cylinder head bolt, observe the sequence when loosening and tightening, insert washers into the cylinder head before installation
- 4 - 25 Nm
- 5 - Hanging eye
- 6 - Gasket, replace
- 7 - Vacuum pump
- 8 - 10 Nm
- 9 - Cooling system pipe
- 10 - 10 Nm
- 11 - Gasket, replace
- 12 - 25 Nm
- 13 - Hanging eye
- 14 - Cylinder head gasket, replace. Install in accordance with marking, after replacement change all coolant
- 15 - Hall sensor "G40" of camshaft position
- 16 - 10 Nm
Checking the cylinder head for warpage
Max. permissible curvature: 0.1 mm. Instructions: Grinding of diesel engine cylinder heads is not permitted.
Cylinder Head Gasket Markings
- Part number in the catalog = arrow 1
- Holes = arrow 2
- Control code = Arrow 3 (don't pay attention)
Instructions: The thickness of the cylinder head gasket to be installed depends on the piston protrusion. When replacing the gasket, install only a gasket with the same marking. When installing new pistons or a short block, it is necessary to determine the piston protrusion at TDC.
