- b - Oil level between marks: oil can be added!
- c - Oil level above max mark: do not add oil!
- d - Under certain conditions, the oil level may also be in this area.

Caution: If during engine repair a large amount of metal shavings and other wear products are found in the engine oil, this may indicate damage to the connecting rod or main bearings of the crankshaft. To avoid subsequent damage, after carrying out repair work it is necessary to: thoroughly clean the oil channels, replace the oil radiator, replace the oil filter.
