Checking the engine oil level

Instructions: Under unfavorable operating conditions, fuel may get into the oil, so its level may be in the "d" area. This is normal - the oil should not be drained. After some time, the level will return to normal.

• a - Oil level below min.: add oil!
• b - Oil level between marks: oil can be added!
• c - Oil level above max mark: do not add oil!
• d - Under certain conditions, the oil level may also be in this area.

Lubrication system (SVAA, SVAV, SVVA, SVVV)

Caution: If during engine repair a large amount of metal shavings and other wear products are found in the engine oil, this may indicate damage to the connecting rod or main bearings of the crankshaft. To avoid subsequent damage, after carrying out repair work it is necessary to: thoroughly clean the oil channels, replace the oil radiator, replace the oil filter.
