Removal and installation the oil filter bracket with oil cooler (VW Tiguan 1)

Drain the coolant. Remove the air filter housing. Remove the air intake. Release the wiring harnesses "arrows" and connector "1" from the boost air pipe "hot side".



Unscrew the mounting bolt "1" and remove the bracket. Disconnect the coolant hoses from the oil radiator.



Disconnect clamp "2", lift bracket "1" and remove the connecting hose "cold side" from the intercooler. Unscrew the bolts securing the "arrow" from the boost air pipe and disconnect connector "1" from the boost pressure sensor "G31".



Open clamp "2", release cooling system hose "3" and disconnect the boost air pipe.





Unscrew the mounting bolt "arrow" and push the coolant circulation pump 2 "V178" to the side.



Unscrew the fastening screws of the "arrow" of the oil dipstick guide tube. Pull the guide tube up from the cylinder block and press it slightly to the side.



Disconnect the plug connector "1" of the oil pressure sensor "F1" using the installation tool "T10118" and unscrew the oil pressure sensor. Disconnect the oil supply line "3" on the oil filter bracket. If necessary, hold with a wrench. Install a pan under the engine.




Unscrew the "arrow" screws and remove the oil filter bracket.



Installation is carried out in the reverse order. The following instructions must be observed: Replace gaskets, sealing rings and O-rings.
