- Disconnect the battery.
- Remove the four nuts securing the exhaust manifold to the turbocharger and remove the gasket.
- Loosen the union nuts on the turbocharger oil line. Remove the oil line from the wiring harness.
- Loosen the two clamps and remove the air line between the intake manifold and turbocharger.
- Loosen the three clamps and remove the air line between the turbocharger and the air filter.
- Disconnect the turbocharger from the exhaust manifold.
- Remove the union nut from the oil pan (bottom arrow fig. 260) oil return line and remove the bracket on the engine housing (top arrow).
- Using a 12mm wrench, remove the four bolts securing the turbocharger housing and remove it from the exhaust manifold.
- Disconnect the oil line from the bottom of the turbocharger housing, remove the gasket.
