Bosch fuel injection pump
To adjust, the cold start accelerator rod must not be extended, all electrical consumers must be disconnected, and the engine must be warmed up.
The idle speed adjustment screw is located on the rear wall of the pump, in the middle between the two rubber hoses coming out of one fitting (see figure 253).
Loosen the lock nut and turn the adjusting screw until the engine starts to run at (850±100) rpm. If the vehicle is equipped with an automatic transmission, the gear selector must be in the "P" position. Tighten the lock nut.

Warm up the engine and loosen the lock nut (figure 254).
Using adjusting bolt 2, set the idle speed to (850±100) rpm.
Tighten lock nut 1.
Attention! Under no circumstances should the position of bolt 3 of the fuel injection pump lever limiter be changed.
